Gabriel Silva is part of the firm’s Administrative Law, Projects, AML Compliance, and Dispute Resolution practice areas. He brings over a decade of cross-sector experience.

 

He most recently served as an Independent Congressman in Panama’s National Assembly (2019–2024), where he worked on legislation promoting transparency, anti-corruption, technology and creative economies, and attracting foreign investment.

Gabriel Silva is a cross-border lawyer, project manager, and government affairs specialist with over 10 years of experience. His work spans various sectors, including governments, elected officials, think tanks, public interest groups, industry and business associations, non-profits, and academia. He excels at fostering collaboration between diverse stakeholders, finding common ground, and advancing shared goals to successful outcomes.

His experience includes serving as In-House Counsel and Government Affairs Specialist for a large multinational corporation, where he managed legal matters across multiple jurisdictions and worked with cross-functional teams. In the public sector, he has drafted legislation and regulations, engaged with a broad range of stakeholders, navigated complex political landscapes, and contributed to policy development.

Gabriel is a results-driven and purpose-oriented professional. He also holds certifications in project management, data analysis, and the foundations of computer science and artificial intelligence (AI). Known for being a quick learner and a collaborative team player, he is committed to leveraging technology to deliver impactful outcomes.
