He holds a Law Degree from Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua (Panama), where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He also earned a Master’s Degree in Civil Liability from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain), graduating top of his class and receiving the Extraordinary Award for the Best Academic Record in the Master’s Degree in Civil Liability (2023/2024 academic year) in recognition of his outstanding academic record.
Andrés holds a Diploma in International Arbitration from American University Washington College of Law, with concentrations in international commercial arbitration, investor-state arbitration, and construction arbitration. His training in these specialized fields equips him to effectively handle multi-jurisdictional proceedings and disputes involving complex contractual structures.
His academic background includes the publication of the article “State’s liability deriving from the judicial annulment of administrative acts” in the Revista de Derecho Administrativo VLex (Spain). He also collaborates with Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in academic forums on civil liability, where he contributes through legal analysis informed by real-world experience in high-complexity cases.
