We advised a Fortune 500 consumer goods manufacturer regarding actions made by a competitor conducting suspected dumping practices in Panama, directly affecting one of our client’s products. LOVILL’s legal counsel included actions for the protection of our client’s brand before the National Directorate of Industrial Property, as well as reporting the wrongful actions of the competitor before the Ministry of Commerce of Panama, as well as all the analysis and investigations before the Customs Authority in Panama to determine possible dumping practices.

We advised a sovereign state that entered into an International Cooperation Agreement with Panama under the Public Bidding Law for rendering and transferring knowledge in state security issues, as well as all the security systems to be implemented by Panama at the new airport terminal. Our advice helped the foreign sovereign state to comply with all regulations, certificates, exemptions to provide services to our country as per the Cooperation Agreement.
